Start Your Own Retail Business - Begins 13th May

This programme has been designed to give start-ups a high-level overview of the fundamental steps to bring a retail concept from idea to fruition.

Starting with the Lean business Model, further sessions will cover Production, Pricing, Branding, Marketing, Retail and E-Tail.

In more detail, we’ll cover:

Business Model – Lean Business Model Canvas, USP, Customer Persona, Product – Market-fit and NPD
Production – Sourcing, design and manufacture
Pricing – Cashflow, whole and partner pricing, discounting and bundling
Branding – Market positioning, brand, creative
Marketing – Go-to-market, digital and omnichannel, direct to customer Vs wholesale
Retail and Etail – Ecommerce overview, pop-ups, bricks and mortar, 360 strategy

This practical programme is led by Jennie McGinn who has worked in retail, e-commerce, marketing and branding for over 20 years.

She has worked in-house for large FMCG brands such as Fields Jewellers, Lifestyle Sports and Chupi.

Hosted in person in MERITS, Naas across 5 sessions:

Tuesday 13th, 20th and 27th May from 6pm to 8:15pm
and Saturday 7th and 14th June 9am to 12:30pm

All participants will receive a Start Your Own Business Textbook as a support resource on their new business journey.
